What does NSW CID do?
NSW CID does many different things. Here is a list of some of the things we do.
- We talk with people with intellectual disability and their families about what is important to them
- We share skills with people with intellectual disability and their families
- We talk to government
- We talk to services
- We give people information
- We talk to people in the community about things that are important to people with intellectual disability
- We have a library called the Jim McLoughlin Library
What is the most important thing that NSW CID does?
Our most important job is speak up about the rights and interests of people with intellectual disability in NSW.
Where does the money come from to do this work?
We get money from the Department of Ageing, Disability and HomeCare (DADHC).
We also get money from membership.
