What is VOICES?

VOICES are forums for people with intellectual disability.

What happens at voices forums?

5 main things happen at VOICES forums.

These 5 things are:

  1. Speaking
  2. listening
  3. discussing ideas
  4. making suggestions to NSW CID, and
  5. making suggestions to other organisations

Why does NSW CID have VOICES forums?

NSW CID is an organisation for people with intellectual disability.

VOICES forums are a way to make sure we hear what is important to people with an intellectual disability.

Who organises the VOICES forums?

The forums are organised by a committee of NSW CID members with intellectual disability.

This committee is called Speak Out Reach Out (SORO).

Should I go to VOICES forums?

YES!!!

We would like to hear from people with intellectual disability.

The more voices we hear the better the forums will be!
